A little about me…

  13. Light. ALL THE LIGHT. The shining, glittering, hope-inducing LIGHT (you know, the good stuff that’s only visible because of no. 9).

When Amy Reall was a tween, she played games in her head where she went on perilous adventures with handsome boys from her school. As an adult, Amy plays similar games, only on paper, and with handsome boys from her imagination. She writes picture books (usually funny) and YA (always romantic) and has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Amy lives in a fairy tale forest with the real, living Handsome Boy who won her heart, two kiddos, a Harry the Dirty Dog clone and another dog who might be a ghost. She loves to read Jane Austen-worthy romance, ogle at pastel bakery displays and visit roadside kitsch (especially when Handsome Boy agrees to accompany her). She has never met a Much Ado About Nothing production she didn’t like.
